What are the chances that the western world’s view of Africa resembles what the average African knows to be their daily life? Full disclosure here, its not that I want to paint this rosy picture of the continent without its share of problems. I do believe the average American or European’s view of Africa is that of hunger, disease, war, and wild animals roaming across Africa as they please.
Economically, though struggling, the amount untapped potential growth is staggering. But even with potential growth there many spearheading in their own individual passions – from Fashion to food, manufacturing to technology, tourism – there are gems that are not celebrated appropriately because the world has chosen to see only the negative things that come out of Africa.
